I've bookmarked the Idnetters Recent Posts tab so I can easily keep track of current discussions.
I dunno whats happened the last week or two but its now dominated by pages and pages and pages and pages of one word posts and smilies from the Fun & Games section of the forum!  :rant2:
Can fun & games posts please be exempted from the Recent Posts list because otherwise its rendering that feature unusable.

Simon

The games section was derelict for ages, but somebody recently resurrected it.  I'm not sure if there's any way to exclude it from the recent posts link, but we will have a look into it.  Alternatively, you could just use the unread posts link, which does much the same thing, but you can easily mark threads as read that you are not interested in.

It's a function I've seen requested a hundred times on SMF's support forum. True to form it's also been rejected a hundred times. I'd have thought there would be be an add-on/hack for it but having looked I can't find anything. It may be something I can code myself. I'll take look at it but I can't make any promises.

I'm sure the newly refreshed enthusiasm for the games threads will soon pass, Zap.

I have a simple solution: People who do the word games could be banned.
