Treated myself to one of these

You may not recall but I started a discussion lamenting the demise of the old metal switch keyboards which I remember from starting to tinker with PCs and I prefer typing on.

The ones I could find with Cherry MX Blue switches which give a similar feel were north of £100.

I've been using a wireless mouse for about a year and wanted to rid my desktop of cables.

Anyway after being reluctant I bought myself one of these

I had to buy a Bluetooth dongle too but have to say it's great to be using an old fashioned feeling keyboard again.

I did something similar recently. I'd been using a dead quiet, £5.99 Logitech keyboard for years so as not to disturb the couch dwellers at the other end of the room. More recently I decided it was time to turn up the volume and bought one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Backlit-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B01C2MLY2Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519585641&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+g610

It's a superb keyboard, built like a tank and sounds like one. It'll be interesting to see if it outlasts my marriage :)x

You don't want a proper IBM Model M (bluckling spring) keyboard?

I've never used a better keyboard than my Unicomp.  Super snap action.  I first experienced the feel on an IBM 3278 in, IIRC, 1984.
