Ive noticed a revamp in the home page, a really dark green colour and new layout, not my favourite colour I have to say. Still it looks fresh, but I prefer blue. Anyway part of the page is now https://www.idnet.com/ also https://www.idnet.net/ still works for the main page. So which is it now? .com or .net for the IDNet home page, both work exactly the same, so its a bit odd. Any ideas. Oh and the forum is super smooth well done peeps.

Has something changed with the forum then, Gary?

Incidentally, the forum link from neither of those IDNet home pages seems to work on my phone.   :dunno:

Using the Samsung Browser, the links just seem to refresh the IDNet page.  I'll try another browser when I get a minute.

I'm not getting the double click on the forum to go to a link when not logged in, Simon it also seems faster although that could be a placebo effect. Both links work okay in Firefox with uBlock Origin and Safari and Wipr. Both links work on my iPhone 11 Pro too and that has Wipr as an adblocker as well.  :dunno: The revamp is IDNets login page, its dark green and when you login its changed to a green colour with a new layout. Its odd as the login page for Indet is .net but the link back from the login page to Idnet is .com

What link to here are you using?  I've tried the Customer Forum link at the bottom of the Home page in the Samsung browser, Opera and Chrome, and none will open the link.   :dunno:

Im using https://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php that should not change the links, have you tried logging into Idnets portal yourself from your own links. They open in all browsers on all devices fine for me. They also work for Ray. What DNS servers are you using? The customer forum links does not work at this time for some reason in any browser. Try logging in your own way to IDnet's site and you should see the new login screen. I'm also using 2FA and getting the number to login sent to my phone fine. They work fine in Safari 13, iOS 13.3.1 using Wipr on safari as an adblocker and Firefox 73 using uBlock Origin 1.24.4 block tracking scripts dodgy third party cookies and malware. Safari with adblocker disabled on Mac OS Catalina 10.13.5 works too as does Firefox. Have you tried clearing your browsers cache? I'm using IDNets DNS servers

My bold - that's what I've been saying.

With regards .com or .net, I guess it doesn't matter as both domains are registered to IDNet, so clearly point to the same website.

Glad we cleared that up.   ::) ;D

What about IDNets new geen login page though, bit odd after the lovely picture and subtle tones on the homepage  ;D

To be honest, I've not really got an opinion on it.  It's just a login page, and I hardly ever use it, as I tend to use the app if I need to look at my account.

I change passwords etc there alter my spam filters etc so I use it quite a lot. The app is great but apps are also fiddly and no small screen app replaces a proper login screen. I use the login page on my 12.9" 1TB iPad Pro too, as the app is okay but still a bit limited compared with the website I feel. I wish we could change colours like in the previous incarnation of the website. Also green seems an odd colour when the home page has nothing that shade of green on it. I like it when the aesthetics work, this feels a little jarring from my point of view.
