After a long hiatus, seems I might be coming back to IDNet can resell are in my area. Current ISPs seem either super expensive 24m contracts (I need 12m at most), or dire customer service.

Will be CityFibre Fibre To The Home Services, so I'd need recommendations on a router (setup?).

Thanks all!

Depends on your needs, I guess, but I can only speak from experience and say that the TP Link VX230v I got from IDNet has been reliable for me and it's meant to be VoIP compatible, but I've not switched my landline over yet.

Thanks. I've the horror of trying to contact and cancel with Onestream. They've zero details on their website, and their call centre "had errors" yesterday.

I don't think there's any business left in the UK that works anymore.

I thought the ISP you're migrating to did all that?

They should do. But seen a lot of punitive cancellation fees and ridiculous increases in prices, so nipping it in the bud ahead of time.
