High Ping Speeds?

Anyone know how I can reduce them?  Have been getting consistently high pings for the past few days now.

Yes Ann ..... to start with use a reliable ping test.

Use the command prompt, and type; ping bbc.co.uk

or; ping idnet.net

If they still show a high figure, post here again, and Lance or Rik will pick it up.  :)
