I normally reboot my netgear dg834g router every 2000 hours+ just for the hell of it .  My connx is, obviously, rock solid but I await 8Mb u/g with a little trepidation(tomorrow am I'm led to believe).

You're virtually certain to get some dropouts in the first few days, but they should become less frequent as the exchange equipment works out what your highest reliable speed is.

Then it should be back to normal, I believe.
