Xbox360 / Online gamers

1st post (yay - Should be getting connected to Supermax in the next few days - not including weekends I suppose!)

Just wondering what most IDnetters do for gaming. Any of you use the Xbox360? I've got one and bizarrely I've never played online despite having a 12 month gold subscription.

Consoles aside, I've also go a CZ server running the UWC3 mod for my [FLUX] clan. I won't post the IP as I've not read forums rules yet

So what you lot do?

When it comes to gaming, I do nothing - except play the fool of course.

To answer your question, though, activation/migration is a Monday to Friday thing. Have you not been given a date yet? It's usually within five working days.

welcome niall.

i used to do a lot of CS back in the old days in a clan

then moved onto Wow for a couple years but throttled back on that due to real life..... !

keen to get back into something online.

got a few people trying to convince me to buy a 360 as they've sorta moved off wow as well and now 3/4 of them play online with the 360 - not sure what though, although some of them are talking about Halo 3 as if its going to eclipse the Second Coming !

personally i really wanna get back into playing CS - i do miss that game and at least unlike wow i can dip in and out of it when i've got the time rather than need 4 hrs + for a single endgame raid !

i really must get it installed and find a good server.

also i'm thinking TF2 might be worth a look whenever it arrives.

rFactor player here. I run my own league using the execllent Caterham mod. I have just had to increase the number of slots on the server by 50% to 36 due to the numbers we are getting.

I thinks its a bit finiky with regards to video drivers too. Have you changed these recently? Alegedly, a patch is due out soon with some fixes, (alegedly

) A good game spoilt by poor pre-release planning and research. Single player is good if a bit short but its nigh on impossible to play reliably on-line.
