Half-Life 2 Epesode 2.

I bought and dowloaded this from Steam last night.  I'm a big fan of the HF series.  The original I thought was truly groundbreaking and is still probably one of my favourite all time games.  HL2 I thought was excellent too though I was dissapointed in Epesode 1 as it was rather short.

Hopefully Episode 2 will be better.  It certainly starts out well...

never liked HL.

only bought HL2 for CS:S.

and hence only grabbed TF2 as i dont want all the other items in the orange box.

was always a quake fan rather than HL / UT i guess really.

i guess being episodes they are going to fairly short - and cheaper than a full game ?

they do the same with Sam & Max iirc ?

I got episode 2 technically b4 it was released (preloaded :p)

I love the way in the episodes they have made the whole world a lot more - "interactive"

Plus the HD lighting is real nice, and EP2 has included motion blur which tops it off. Havent played much as im trying to save it - so far its rather compelling
