Hi guys,

I did as Rik suggested and set up the router to send me an email every day so that I could see what it had been up to.  Not sure I always understand what it's telling me but that's a different thing.  The email it sends takes hours to arrive.. sometimes never, I don't seem to get one every day but those that have arrived are dated November although the stats are about October.  So where is it getting this date from?

Here's the last one I just got:

Date: Mon,29 Nov 2007 20:00:01 -0000
From: my address
To: my address

Sun, 2007-10-28 20:00:01 - Send E-mail Success!

Have a look in the router, Ann, at the schedule tab. Make sure the DST box is unchecked and the timezone is correct. What date is showing on that page?

Some versions of the Netgear software do record the date correctly, but get the date on the email wrong by a month. Which version of the firmware are you running?

Date everywhere is right so it must be as you say and nothing I can do.  Firmware version is V3.01.31.  I expect they'll correct next version round then.

Actually, Netgear work the opposite way, Ann. They seem to introduce bugs which are then set in stone. :( If you have a different email address you could try, it might be worth it.
