Last day before I go back to work and a bit board. So I had a play with my 585 and the DMT Tool. Now I know that there is not a cats chance that this will hold

but it looked nice on my line for a bit.

Well I like the downstream rate of 8128 but I think the nm of 4 might be more then a bit low for my line.

I've tried tinkering with the DMT Tool with the 585, but it all seems a bit pointless to me. It synced much lower than the DG834Gv2 & v3 for starters, so tinkering simply got my old sync rate back. Then there's the simple fact that you end up giving up stability for what usually amounts to a few kbps.

After starting with 512k on Pipex a long while ago, I'm pretty happy with the fact that most speed regrades have been free. Not to mention that I'm now paying less for what is essentially a faster and better service.
