Hello all, thinking about migrating from current ISP to the Home SuperMax service on IDNET. On the product info pages it says "60GB downloads included (30GB 9am-midnight, 30GB midnight-9am) but when i run through the order process it tells me "60GB downloads included (15 GB 9am-midnight, 45GB midnight-9am)".
Which one is applicable?

Lance

Hi and welcome to the forum, have a welcome karma!

It is the 30/30 split which is correct. It was previously 15/45 but to make it better value they changed it! I'll let then know about the error on the site.

Thanks,
Lance

Hi MrJ, and  :welc:

If you decide to make the switch, you won't regret joining IDNet, and don't forget, uploads don't count towards the 60Gb allowance.

Im jealous!!!

Do report back with pings and average speeds - might go for the supermax

Malc

I'm on supermax, it is 30/30 with uploads not counted.

And it's worth every penny.

Apart from the increased upload speed, Sam, it does get priority over us plebs on the BT network, so faster speeds are a distinct possibility.

Indeed, it is a 20:1 contention as opposed to the standard 50:1. It can make a big difference on congested exchanges like my own. It also means if there is a fault - it'll get a marginally higher priority :-P.
