Hello all, looking forward to my IDNET service kicking off tomorrow but have just logged into my account for the first time with the login details supplied after i signed up.

On the payment invoice PDF it says 'Please make sure that your payment reaches us before the period start date listed above to ensure continued service' and the period date appears to begin 24th November. I set up a direct debit when i joined up but on the payment options section of my account my status currently says 'UNPAID', but with a payment due of 5th December. Now I'm confused! (this is a regular occurrence ;)) Do i need to make a payment before the service will activate, or does the direct debit mean I'm OK for tomorrow?

Hope that makes sense :)

Rik

Don't worry. The invoice is sent well before the collection date, to comply with DD requirements. IDNet will collect the money on the due date, or shortly after, meantime, activation will go ahead. (Are you migrating in?)

Rik

In that case, there's no activation fee to cloud the issue, so you can let IDNet collect the money when they have told you. :)

One of the pleasures of Idnet is letting them take the money from your account because of the great service you get. ;D :thnks:

probably not the right place for this, do Idnet work over the weekend? i`m migrating in. but i haven`t heard anything apart from my direct debit.

Rik

They don't, but if you have been sent your login details, you could check your account details at:

https://www.idnet.net/secure/

Login, then go to account details > payment options.

Rik

When did you order? It's usually about 5 working days from then, you'll probably get the details a couple or three days beforehand.

Aren't we all. ;)

You'll probably hear tomorrow or Tuesday then. If not, let me know and I'll chase it for you. (You'll need to PM me, as I'll need some details.)

hi Rik, i got an email saying i should be active on the 29th about 6 pm

Rik

Glad to hear it. The 6pm is the latest time, BT usually do most migrations in the small hours, so the chances are you will wake up and find you are connected. :)
