Hi,

Having decided to make the move from the traffic shaping grasp of eclipse, I have chosen to move over to idnet. I set about creating my primamry mail acct tonight and have hit a problem.
Initially I created an @idnet.com address, and was able to login once. Having done this I nipped over to namesco to redirect my mail forwarding. On trying to log back into idnet webmail I was faced with 'Login Failed'.

After a few attempts I decided to delete the account and try again. This time I couldnt get in at all.
The status suggests it should all be fine, so I'm at a loss.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark, and  :welc:

This may be something we can't help with here, as we obviously can't access your account, but the initial login problem suggests a username / password issue.  One suggestion might be to try to create an alternative mail account to test things out with, and then if you still can't resolve things with your primary mail address, give IDNet support a call in the morning on 0800 0267 237.  In the meantime, you might want to have a look through the following email guide, just to double check everything.

Welcome to the forum, Mark - have a welcome karma!

I can only reinforce what Simon has already said. Because we are unable to see both what is happening on the server, or ask for you account details, we are limited in the help we can offer.

If you find it easier then phoning, you could also email support at support@idnet.net. However, I would suggest that a phone call would be best for this problem.

Mark,

Clear your cookies or try another browser, that is what fixed my problems with webmail a couple of weeks ago

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum.

Sadly, I have to echo the excellent advice you have already been given. On an issue like this, you really do need to talk to support (it's a freefone number, remember).

One thing I'm not sure of is whether you couldn't access the webmail interface on your second attempt, or your customer account page?
