Hi.

Anyone else having problems loading websites? Google is down for me and some other sites.

I'm also having problems with idnet.com customer login, account details and usage doesn't load.

Regards,
Paul

Exactly the same here at the moment. DNS maybe?

Rik

Google is certainly down, haven't tried the others yet.

We are having the same problems, could be a routing issue. On our other internet connection the same web-sites are fine.

Gary

Same here also lost live messenger, not sure if that's coincidence or part of this possible dns issue

I'm having the same difficulties. I've checked my router, shows no problem - 748 hours uptime  :)

I'm also having the same problem.

On first inspection it seems to be US sites that are affected? UK sites seem to be fine.

I had this yesterday for a brief period as well actually, very annoying. :'(

Rik

The IDNet login is also showing problems with Google Analyticals, I'll let support know.

I had that issue as well I could not connect to hotmail etc for a brief period, oddly PCWorld.com still works and that is a us site (nothing to do with pcworld the awful shop)

Same problems here. Google is down, hence no access to Gmail or the Firefox start page. Traceroute to google.co.uk gives the following:

Tracing route to www.l.google.com [64.233.183.104]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

Looks like issues outside IDNet's network? Seems to time out after redbus ::)

No access to facebook or msn/hotmail either.

Nice to know it's not just me

tomharrison

I can't get to my 1&1 webmail or website (hosted by 1&1) either. First time I've had problems with 1&1 since when I was with the dreaded Tiscali :(!

No google...feels like part of my brain has gone awol!

Rik

I know what you mean.

Has anyone tried switching to OpenDNS? I don't want to right now - but it would be a useful diagnostic if someone could.
