Hey Kill

I generally cheat and stream everything I can through vlc, please don't mention realplayer lol. You are right in saying that ff does seem to have slipped more, I suppose the more marketshare it gets the more attacks that will occur.
Hey Holes

I didn't mention Realplayer >:D its QuickTime that has the massive gaping security hole, see the post you responded to for details  ;D  ;)
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Hey Kill

Only mentioned realplayer as its the only one that doesn't play properly in vlc, where as quicktime generally is fine.

And yes I do have realplayer installed, and yes I bloody hate it ;) I blame the bbc!

I know it's not in keeping with the forums - but back on topic, I just read the article. The entire assertion that IE is more secure than FF appears to based on the fact that Mozilla fixed more issues in FF than MS did in IE during the sample periods.

Now call me pedantic, but doesn't that just mean there are more unfixed vulnerabilities in IE7, and therefore it's less secure?

I wonder if it's a typo in the original story and MS are actually really admitting defeat :/
Have I lost my way?

That's one way of looking at hit, but I think they are trying to say there were less fixes needed in the first place!
