+ £8.00 delivery charge, no doubt..  :(
Delivery was £8.00, but that's included in the £9.04. Yes, I won the router at £1.04.  ;D

I guess I was just lucky. Or maybe what I've bought is not what I think!

Wow Sebby, that has to be a record.

Well done. ;)

No, looks like you just got lucky, mine was £8.01 for identical item, but I had 3 others bidding against me.

It is identical to the one that I won.

Good. I just thought maybe I'd ordered the wrong thing!

Rik

Not on the basis of what I could see.

Well had my 2700 running for a week and a half (roughly) with my netgear my profile was 4500 with throughput of 4126 these are my test results today:

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 5500 kbps
    DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)  6496 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5182 kbps

;D Cannot believe the difference it has made, my line attenuation is 48db (well now its cold 47.1) :D
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Me neither, Gary. Mine's been stable for 10 days at 3232, 400k higher than the Netgear could manage.

It is quite bizarre that a router can make such a huge difference Rik, at this speed my snr goes to about 4db at night which my old netgear DG834G would have had to re-sync at operating at this speed as it would have hit 0db or below, at the moment my snr is 8db ;D saying that freezing cold overhead lines that have shrunk in the cold may help, my attenuation has gone from 49db to 47.1 over the last week

Right now, my NM is at 11db, usually it's 10db during the day, 9db at night. I'm guessing the cold weather is helping... As you say, the Netgear would have been swinging about all over the place. Nowadays, the only the reason to run Routerstats is to plot when the street lights turn on and drop the NM. :)

If I sync at my old 4500 profile speed Rik I  have the same snr stats as you ;D and my old netgear still would have gone down to about 1db or 2db if lucky.

Looks like the one Sebby bought isn't a 2700hgv, its a 2700hg. The difference is probably the voip capability "v".
Don't know if it makes any difference to performance?
