There was a new version of NOD32 issued yesterday v 3.0.621, from what I've read it seems to have fixed a lot of the previous problems. I might even upgrade from my present v 2.7.  :)

Rik

Thanks, Noreen. Let us know if you do make the move.

I've now read that the latest version is not yet up on the UK site. The good reports that I read were on the Wilders forums if you want to read them. http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=88

I've now read several pages of reactions at Wilders re the new NOD32 and it seems that many of the problems with previous v3 upgrades have been fixed and many people are now happy but a few problems do still remain for some others, so I'm still sticking with 2.7 for now.

For anyone intending to go for the new version, it's definitely recommended that you uninstall 2.7 and install a complete new version.

Rik

Like you, I think I'll wait. I prefer not to play around with AV software.

I installed V3 on my Vista laptop about 3 weeks ago, and can't say I've noticed any problems at all with it. Maybe I'm just lucky!

Hopefully this newer V3 will be available in the UK soon!

Maybe it works better with Vista, Lance?

Works fine on XP for me, Rik, I've been using the Security Suite version for nearly a month with no problems at all.
