Max: leave router on for BT?

I'm due to upgrade to Max. During the first 10 days do I need to leave my router on? I usually kill it at the mains as it whines away all night ...

I don't believe it is required, people with modems and not routers will not be able to leave them on 24/7. Feel free to continue normal activity. :P
