I think it's because quite a few forum members are using it, and from what I can gather, it is supplied only on Ebay ( could be totally wrong though

) and there is/was not a lot of info available for it.

Or I could just be talking out of my a**e

That's pretty much it. We have quite a few threads/discussions regarding this router and it was dominating the Help section, so we created a child-board for 2700 related threads.

Quite simply, serveral users have experienced their highest ever syncs with this router, and their best stability on MAX adsl with it. Take Rik for example, he now uses one and has increase his profile by 1000kbps - a 50% increase over the netgear he used to use!

Except for me, I dropped from a sync of 8128 to 7616 when I switched from my Belkin to the 2700HGV.

Nothing ever works right for me

. The wireless strength is much better though.

Where did you get yours from. There seems to have been one bad batch from DigiDave in particular?

Not him, This one. I do seem to get alot less errors now than with the Belkin, maybe it was holding sync higher than it should have been?

I've not seen any reports on her.

One of the reasons, though, why we gave the 2700 its own board is that, with no normal retail chain behind it, we felt that members could usefully pool their experiences, both of tips and tricks and of good and bad suppliers.
