It seems more and more people are getting better syncs. Recently there seems to have been quite a few people on here getting max sync. I'm very jealous!!!

Indeed. What I've noticed is attenuation figures don't have to be as low as you might think to achieve full sync. The problem is that we have particularly high attenuation figures!

Increasingly, it seems that anyone with a sub-48db attenuation has a resonable chance of full sync, but after that things go downhill rapidly. Oh for a few miles of copper...

Yep, that sums it up well, Rik. I've got a 47dB or so attenuation figure and certainly couldn't get full sync, though low 40s potentially could. Still, I'm reasonable happy with a 4000k profile.
