hi,

hopefully i should have my IDnet account activated by wednesday evening.

switched from orange - yeah, i know ;)

a question i have is that with orange i simply cannot connect.  i know it is a PPP problem as i can (temporally) connect without using PPP (i.e. using SLIP) settings.

will this screw my connection with IDnet or will things be ok once the switch has been made?

Hard to say without more info on the symptoms of your connection prob Chisa...however I think this is one better taken up with Tech Support or Customer service at IDNet to talk through.
