Ok! folks so anyone got a theory on this?

Why does my 2700HGV resync every 12 days? It will not stay connected longer than this.

I could happily live with it but I had a series of bad disconnects just after Christmas over a two Day
period which in turn caused my usual 6db noise margin to be upped to 15db.
This has now happened 3 times in a row, connected for 12 Days then resync so I can't reach the 14 Day limit for my SN to be raised again. Must admit it's got me stumped.

Any thoughts before I rig up my Speedtouch again?

I know a few others have had this as well. I can't remember if the problem is solved by clearing the logs. Hopefully someone with a better memory will be along shortly!

Are you running a single SSID version, on SBC firmware? We have a couple of others on here who are, and theirs do that too. Rik and Sebby are the ones to talk to, and I expect one or both of them will be along later.

Simon you're correct about the single SSID and SBC firmware.
To be honest it's always been close to 12 days and 12 hours which is 300 hours. Don't know if the figure 300 is significant.

It's interesting, but it does seem to be a common issue with SBC firmware versions. Others that have the twin SSID versions don't seem to have the 12 day resyncs.

My dual SSID was at 48 days when I manually rebooted it last week.From Lance' s post it does seem to be an issue with the hacked firmware.

Going off at a bit of a tangent here, I'd suggest that the quickest way to get your profile reset is to get IDNet to put you on a fixed rate line for a fortnight and then go back onto ADSLMax which will give you a new 10 day training period - that's what I did some time ago.

Both Sebby and I have noticed the 12 day cycle on the router, but I also used to get the same with my Netgear. I wonder, therefore, if certain DSLAMs might reset at intervals?
