Baz

is anyone having bother with the BT speed tester.

I have been getting this error message the past few days ....

Performance Tester was not able to find all the network details required for telephone number:********.

Please check that it is the correct telephone number for your service, and if not try again. If you believe it is the correct number for your service then please raise this as a fault with your service provider.

It's one of BT's lies rather than tell you that it's too busy, Baz. :(

Best time of day seems to be early morning, and our results suggests that you are more likely to get a completed test using IE rather than Firefox.

Ah  good old BT eh :D :D :D :D

yeah it never seems to finish with Firefox even though......."The performance tester has been successfully tested with the following browsers; Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Safari.......

or is that a lie too BT, eh?

:D :D

thanks Rik

Rik

Well, we note what we say, and we note what happens, Baz, so recommend people to use IE. ;)

Just carried out a BT Speedtest using IE6, no problem, I never have a problem using it, it works every time for me. ;)
