THANKS

I wonder if it is where the router is trying to 'phone home' and as it is not making a connection, it's timing out?

What version of the router to have and have you implemented the DNS poisioning?

Hi

I have a 2700HGV Dual SSID  Software:  5.29.107.19

DNS Settings are:
pbthdm.bt.motive.com         10.0.0.0         User added
cwmp.cms.smehomehubrms.bt.com       10.0.0.0       User added
pbthdm2.bt.motive.com       10.0.0.0       User added

Thanks

Sebby

It probably is it trying to connect to BT's server. What it's saying to you is that it couldn't connect to the other side.

Rik

Did you have normal 'net access at the time, EvilPC? It looks a bit like you'd lost sync.

I think so !!  My DSL is up & down at the moment..
BT are looking into it..

what's the best way to find out how many times I've reconnected ??

Sebby

Have a look here under Training History.

This probably won't make a difference but I read that you should also set;

gateway.cms.smehomehubrms.bt.com                    10.0.0.0

Thanks.

I've added the DNS entry and have found the training details :)
