I have a very similar attenuation, Johnny, and sync around 3500, so I would hope you've room for better speeds yet. :)

:D well,set-up discs then! :)

Whatever discs they were, they certainly didn't float my boat. >:D

With a router, no software at all needs to be installed on the PC!!!!!!!!  :)

Everyone's is a router and modem in one; we just tend to refer to them as routers. Some come with an installation CD to make setup easy, but no router actually requires one. You can simply type in the router's IP address in your web browser and it will bring up the settings.
