It just seems a bit coincidental...

It is possible to have a noise margin that poor on a fixed 1Mb service.

Rik

Plus u/s sync is 448, but like Sebby, seeing 1152 made me think it was fixed rate.

Ah yes, that suggests it's not. I thought I was onto something there.

Rik

Us too, Sebby. BT should never have allowed the fixed rate sync speeds to exist in adaptive. :)

Woops, I've just noticed that you asked this already, Rik.

*Note to self: must read the whole thread in future.*

Was this thread split off by any chance? I feel like I've missed some of it...

Lance

Indeed it was split from another thread...

It was split from just migrated, Steve, I felt it was hijacking that thread rather:

Indeed, Rik. And on that note, I'm off to bed! Goodnight, you lot, whoever you are.

:sleepy:

That was an early visit. :) I think it's the first time I've been on at that hour - and I still wasn't alone.  :)

Very wise - it's usually my preferred state too, but I knew I was going to be out of the forum from 2:30, so wanted to get a head start.  ;)

I'd need a bit of a clue, Jill, there's been a lot of posts recently, so some specific text from the message would be needed to use the search facility. The only way would be to examine all your posts and, tbh, I am not in a position to do that given the activity levels in the forum. Sorry. :(

I did have a quick look early this morning, I couldn't find it  :( it would have been interesting to see the speed I had then, as I do remember you saying it was good! just wondering what has happened? Busy day at work, too tired to do anymore at the moment, Jack has to be at work for 5am! I am on a late 2.30-10pm  :(

Rik

Do you have an idea of the date of the post?
