I have no personal experience of any of these games. http://home.comcast.net/~SupportCD/XPGames.html

edit: I've just realised that I do have one of these games "MahJongg Solitaire 3D" which I can recommend for taking your mind off other things. ;D

A paradise for gamers, Noreen, of which I am not one either!   :thumb:

Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Noreen

But have none of you EVER played computer games?

Rik

If you exclude Solitaire, Noreen, then no - not one. I've always thought of them as a waste of good processor cycles.

Well, up to a few years ago I just loved playing computer RPGs and some strategy games. I still have "Morrowind" and "Civilization IV" on the computer in case I ever feel like going back to them. I also have "Pretty Good Solitaire" which has many solitaire card games (one of the best) and MahJongg Solitaire 3D as mentioned previously.

Rik

I always thought an RPG was a rocket-propelled grenade. I didn't have you down for being warlike, Noreen. ;)

"Morrowind" was one of the most popular RPGs ever, basically I think because you could virtually do whatever you liked rather than follow a set storyline, very absorbing.

You might be interested in "Pretty Good Solitaire", Rik, it has 700 games! http://www.goodsol.com/

Rik

Does it have the same security advantages as PGP? ;)

I don't have an imagination, Noreen, I'm very stodgy. Could never get into Lord of the Rings, for example - fantasy and me just don't seem to go together.  :'(

That really is a shame, Rik. Still, it's a good thing that we're not all the same isn't it? :)

Must admit that I've never gone in for RPGs - I much prefer the games that I can just play without thinking too much. But then that may be because thinking hurts (I'll say it before someone else does)  ;D

True enough. My passion has always been music, I guess that's where I tend to escape to.
