Hi there were several issues, the first one was a failed pairing, the secound was mapping, the third was the modem so I had no chance of getting on.still all behind me all I have to do is reinstall the router, which is fine, and get a repeat prescription for the valium which Im now on although a hundred a day seems excessive (but hey,who cares lol).my speed is amazing )it been so long I have forgotten how to check my mail and even the password so have to get this sorted, this migration took a month but to be fair thats what happens sometimes and maybe I will be able to help someone else who may experience this.I did nt have to kick or scream, not my thing just telephoned idnet again yesterday and that lovely lady had had enough and vowed to get it sorted by this morning an engineer from BT had sorted the issues at the exchange and was in my home and all over, its been fun and now I can get on with my NEW isp its worth it................... ;D

Hi David

That would have been Miriam. It seems like BT and Tiscali conspired against you in every possible way. Sadly, this seems to be an increasing problem with Tiscali migrations. At least you have a story to beat anyone else's. ;) Well, so far... ;D

Let us know if you still have problems with the router.
