Well nobody has told me my mac code has been rejected my Tiscali, so I should be with you all on Thursday  Been checking out my router and (in theory)  I know how to change the password and username to the one IDNet have given me.
Just one question I guess I will know I've been migrated cos i won't be able to connect? Ohhh I am so excited to be leaving pipex/Tiscali.. roll on Thursday

You've got it. Once you can no longer connection, put in your new details and away you go! If you are not on LLU, then most  igrations take place in the early hours of the morning with no downtime. If you are comimg from Tiscali LLU there is usually a small period of downtime and it will take place during the 'working day'.

The downtime on LLU migrations tends to vary from 10 mins to an hour or so.

I dunno what a life is.. cos I don't have one, not away from the comp anyhow  lol My cats are lucky if they can drag me away long enough to feed them

Mind you i did paint the bathroom today - so managed without the comp for a good four hours.. thank God for one coat paint, cos I ain't doing those high bits again

It's worth mentioning that if you are not on LLU, there will probably be a short period when you can log in to either ISP. IDNet will send you en email when BT say the migration is complete, so as soon as you get that, you should be good to go.
