Hey Bad

What was the message you got?

Sebby

Don't worry about asking questions, David; we're all here to help each other. :)

What was the security message? Was it in the log?

What's your issue with Norton?

David

udp packet source 212.58.227.80.8458 destination 91.135.6.94.6970 dos.

That's just the firewall doing its job; nothing to worry about. You're not being targeted specifically.

And Norton?

http://www.iptools.com/dnstools.php?tool=ipwhois&user_data=212.58.227.80&submit=Go is where the dos was coming from, it's the bbc as you can see. What gave you the alert? I.e your router etc, have you had any further alerts? Where you using any bbc services at the time?

Hi David

As people have said, thanks guys  :thumb: , it sounds just like the firewall is doing it's job. As to Norton, it would be worth running the removal tool, if that doesn't help, get back to us and we'll do it the 'dirty' way. :)

As to questions, if people didn't post them, I'd have to find something else to do.  ;D

Looks like it was probably a streaming service from the bbc, job done ;)

That's good, David. Norton is a real pest to get rid of.
