Baz

got a window this morn when booting up saying an update is available for adobe flash

didnt even know I had it to be honest. How can I stop it checking which it seems to be doing itself.

Can you open anything connected with the program, settings etc.

Rik

I've never seen any settings, tbh, Baz. The Control Panel just has a remove option. IAC, most of the updates are for security reasons, so you might not want to disable them.

Baz, Adobe Flash Player is what used to be Macromedia. It would install when you first visited a website that required it, and then it's just there, without looking like it's installed. :)
