Anyone having problems with web browsing.  My son on the Chatham exchange is failing to resolve names but ip addresses work ok.

Fine here, Alf. Get him to switch to OpenDNS, that should eliminate the IDNet servers, or point the finger:

I've noticed things being a bit slower than usual this morning, but I put it down to traffic.

He seems to think it might be his computer.  My granddaughter has no problems on their home network, 4 computers and 3 games machines...Huh!  So he is rebooting.  Mind you he has three OS's onboard the machine for his programming work.

He could fire up command prompt and use the command ipconfig /flushdns. That might sort it out!

Might be worth doing an ipconfig /flushdns, Alf.

Or what Lance said. :)

There's a first for everything. ;)

No problems using OpenDNS here. :)

He'd already done the flushdns.  Still think he has too much going on with his machine.  Keep it simple is my motto. ;D  Thanks for all your input, much appreciated.

I'm a KISS fan myself, Alf. Make every byte count. :)
