some years ago (maybe 10) i  think it was nvidia, brought out a graphics card, which also had a screen saver, which was a fairy walking up and down a tree branch in a forest.

one of my grand daughters is really into fairies, so can anyone tell me where i can get that screensaver ???

Philip

I've just had a quick google and found nothing, but why not try contacting nvidia, they may still have it on file  :thumb:

Who was it that they bought? Was it the 3dfx lot? I can't remember which card manufacturer bought them.

I do remember when they got bought, I got the top end Voodoo 5500 PCI for £50 :D

or train ???

Not any chance of that. I've been to, and come home from, the station already this morning. Only one train has gone London bound all morning. Its because of over-running engineering works at Shenfield, despite Network Rail promising after a £14m fine it won't happen again. The duty manager at the station said that right up to 11pm last night Network Rail were saying it was going to be completed on time. It now appears it isn't going to be sorted until at least lunchtime, but that's just his guess on the basis that NR are only giving hourly updates at the moment.   :rant2:  :rant2:  :rant2:

Oh well, a day off work for me then!

Enjoy it while you can, Lance. :) (I guess it's less fun that it was for me back in the 70s, and with 'net and mobiles, people can reach you more easily...)

I'm not expecting to be reached at all today, but it just means that I'm doing my studying instead.

That said, I'm about to pop to Tesco [other stores are available  ;)] to get a baguette and some bacon to make a well known breakfast!

It's tough when you have to get your own breakfast. ;)
