The uninitiated start to listen

Some of you may remember I posted a short while back about my parents problems (self induced through not listening) with their broadband problems, and how whatever I said, they did the opposite.

Well, it seems they may be early adopters to my latest bid to eradicate the world of the RSI inducing mouse, and turn the world to the trackball.

Yes - I started to suffer unexplained agony (OK - maybe not unexplained - but dramatic effect and all that) using my £40 mouse, so I switched to a £15 trackball - followed by an all singing all dancing multi buttoned cordless affiar.

Seems I'm not the only one - I took mine round tonight - and he immediately jumped onto Amazon and ordered one (seems he has some Satan's deal with them where he doesn't actually pay them).

Anyone else ready to jump on this pain free bandwagon?

I've been using a trackball for the past few years, I prefer the trackman range.

I used to use a trackball way back, nowadays I divide my time between mouse and graphics tablet.

Could never get on with a trackball, I prefer a mouse, or use my touchpad on my keyboard when that needs charging

I've also tried trackballs and just don't get on with them. Give me a big fat mouse with lots of buttons any day.

Same here I love me a fat, or slim mouse

I've never liked trackballs, though in truth I've never really given them a chance. I get on fine with mice; whatever shape/brand/size.

are trackballs big and bulky? only remember ones that Ive seen in schools and on them interactive displays in the likes of museums and exhibitions
