Kaspersky on Vista and no issues whatsoever, faster than my old pc, shocked to see bit defender 2008 fail on there
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Simon

What puts me off Kaspersky is THAT firewall, which seems to be all or nothing, i.e, all pop ups or no protection, as it lets everything through.

I had to look up what that is, but I'm quite intrigued now. Let us know if it works well!

Healthy chips that taste the same deep fat fried ones? Nice! ;D

Simon

It's probably better with chips cut straight from a potato, but it did frozen ones very nicely!   :thumb:

it monitors the main vista/xp functions like svhost etc on mine at default it monitors 41 programs and personally I don't mind the pop ups they go away after a day or so and are easy to configure, the new version 8 which will be out soon has a new firewall, but the Kaspersky 7 firewall gets good reviews with matousec for leak tests which says a lot.

We had a look at one, Simon, but it was so fussy to use it went back untried. 40 minutes to do a kilo of chips! :(
