Just read this elsewhere;

Sorry if I sound a bit thick but I've always wondered... does a scheduled antivirus scan still work when the computer is switched off

Now I thought that I was tech challenged. ;)

a BIT thick ?

Mind you, one of our customers rang up yesterday to say that they weren't able to send or receive mail. After unsuccessfully trying to remote on to their server, I asked if their internet connection was OK. "No" came the reply - "I've rung BT about that, but this is a seperate problem isn't it?"  ;D

Yeah I thought that as well Rik, the Mods don't have a very good sense of humour either, so I refrained. ;)
