when you install new software or hardware drivers, windows some times comes up with:

***** has not passed windows testing...

and gives you the option to stop installation or continue anyway.  Our computer at work doesnt give us the option to continue anyway can anyone  explain why?

Just a stab in the dark, but perhaps you have to be an administrator to be able to continue?

This message will appear if the driver is not WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) certified, so you won't necessarily see it on every machine, as they probably have different hardware, hence different drivers, and a lot of drivers are signed.

It's possible, then, that driver signing checking is disabled on one of the computers and not the other.

Go to Control Panel, then System, then click the Hardware tab. Now click the Driver Signing button and set it to Ignore.
