Absolutely no idea, tbh, Ted. I've seen nothing like that. You should be on GW5, so I wonder whether this is an internal code to the router?

Fwiw, I've just noticed I also had a momentary PPP loss at 14:03 yesterday.

Same pattern as everyone else, Noreen. It wasn't a realm issue, iow it affected both DSL4 and GW5. I half wonder, as it only seems to have affected IDNet, whether BT did something to the centrals...

Late as is often the case but when my line dropped at circa 9:15 PM last evening I simply switched the router off and left it until this morning because had I reconnected at that time of the evening I would put money on the fact the it would have been at a low enough rate to drop my profile by 500 kbps! Don't you just love BT?

No-one's reported a sync drop though, Les, only the PPP session, so speed should not have been affected (mine wasn't).

I didn't wait there had been some thunder and lightning earlier so I threw the mains switch and unplugged the ADSL. Too late I know if the had been a surge on the line but I was only browsing at the time so I shut everything down and waited until this morning when all was back to normal I am pleased to report.
