Absolutely no idea, tbh, Ted. I've seen nothing like that. You should be on GW5, so I wonder whether this is an internal code to the router?

Fwiw, I've just noticed I also had a momentary PPP loss at 14:03 yesterday.

Same here, Rik, dropped lcp at 21:13 and was back up again within 12 seconds.

Just read this post and checked my router log.  Yep, sure enough, mine went down at 21:13 too.

Somebody seems to have tripped over a lead somewhere - but you have to admit, they got the cable plugged back in quickly. ;)

Don't let Dopamine hear that! He seems content on blaming everything on IDNet of late! lol

Noreen

Looked at my router and found this, I'm on gw5. It's an hour out as I also discovered that I hadn't allowed for "Summer Time". ;D

Same pattern as everyone else, Noreen. It wasn't a realm issue, iow it affected both DSL4 and GW5. I half wonder, as it only seems to have affected IDNet, whether BT did something to the centrals...

Same pattern as everyone else,
Late as is often the case but when my line dropped at circa 9:15 PM last evening I simply switched the router off and left it until this morning because had I reconnected at that time of the evening I would put money on the fact the it would have been at a low enough rate to drop my profile by 500 kbps! Don't you just love BT?
Regards,

Les.

Rik

No-one's reported a sync drop though, Les, only the PPP session, so speed should not have been affected (mine wasn't).

I didn't wait there had been some thunder and lightning earlier so I threw the mains switch and unplugged the ADSL. Too late I know if the had been a surge on the line but I was only browsing at the time so I shut everything down and waited until this morning when all was back to normal I am pleased to report.  :)

Les.

well since there seems to be a large number of us lost ppp sessions sadly i think it was IDNet that had a issue and not BT

anyone know how to check the 2700 router logs

Sure does but  don't get your twizzletuft in a knot just because a wrinkly peep has spotted that you have published your IP Address on a Public Forum!   ;)

Some kind Admin person will no doubt edit it for you if it is to late for you to do it yourself!   :)

Captain K

Just had a drop-out for 12 minutes.  B****y annoying as I was in the middle of a long post on a forum and lost it.

No loss of sync at any stage.  Think there's a loose wire somewhere.  On GW5.

I think that might be different on the non-SBC ones, Seb.  That doesn't take me anywhere on mine.

Everything OK here, by the way.
