Im not sure if im right but i seem to remeber getting that when the connections for ie6 and outlook was different.

Have a look in the options for both m8, i could be wrong but its very familuar

Ive looked in the IE connections they ain't changed ive tried altreing the outlook express connection as much as i can but it makes no difference ive put them back as they were but if i cant solve it im gonna uninstall IE7 nothing is ever straight forward where microsoft is concerned.    ::) >:(

Work Offline is a dialup function.  So you've not got the "hangup after reading" box ticked then.

I can't even find where to work offline in mine - though the connection bit is blank anyway as the router does it all, so that might be something to do with it.

stevelondon

No i checked that the hang up after reading is unticked "scratches head"

Nerval

You using a modem then?
How about doing the network setup wizard again in the Control Panel?
That ought to reset whatever it's messed up I'd think.

stevelondon

no everything to do with dial up is off or disabled im using a router and have never had this problem ever before untill after ive installed IE7 earlier

Nerval

Can't find anybody else with it, which is strange.
Rebooting doesn't fix it either, I take it, so I'm lost.

Nerval

Steve, this says that if you uninstall IE7, it leaves you where you started at IE6.
