I've just downloaded the current standalone version, David, and here's part of the screen capture, so it does appear to be working as expected here.

The version I had on the machine, a couple of months older, hasn't got dates, so perhaps he's still perfecting that bit?

I'm wondering if that info is unique to those memory modules in that particular PC, Rik, I've just checked mine again, no date information appears but my modules are Crucial ones, I notice that yours are Corsair.  ???  ;)

Could be, Ray, I note that Everest and Belarc don't date the memory, but agree on a sensible date for the monitor.

Everest dates two of my memory modules correctly ( Hynix Branded ) but doesn't date the other 2. ( different brand ).

It would appear that there is an optional way of dating RAM then.

Just got off the phone to Crucial and thanks to the SIW I was able to give over the information re motherboards capacity and the correct part number. They were really helpful, which makes a change these days.
All I have to do now is get these sent back and the new order will be sent out when they receive these

Price difference was £7  so no shock here....time to get these to the post office, with luck I will have the correct parts by Thursday.....

One thing I have to say that Crucial are very nice and really efficient, and before anyone  mentions the wrong item sent....they had 2 options and made the wrong choice but its all good fun...manufaturers apparanly do use othe parts rathe than listed ones which I guess can be confusing anyway hopefully it will be job done soon... :fingers: :fingers:
