Pings again

Usually around 17ms to bbc.co.uk, but currently as below.  Anyone else, or just me?

Pinging bbc.co.uk [212.58.224.131] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 212.58.224.131: bytes=32 time=138ms TTL=122
Reply from 212.58.224.131: bytes=32 time=151ms TTL=122
Reply from 212.58.224.131: bytes=32 time=124ms TTL=122

Ping statistics for 212.58.224.131:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 124ms, Maximum = 151ms, Average = 136ms

There does seem to be a problem, but support haven't got anything on it at the moment. Can you let them have pings and tracerts to support@idnet.net. The more people who can provide data the better.

Everything fine my end. Thats my usual pings. I'm on GW5

I've emailed support.  dsl4 here.

Great. If it's a DSL4 issue, it will appease all those on GW5 who have suffered in the past. ;)

Thanks, Ray. :) Pings appear to be gradually dropping back towards normal for me now, though they've got a way to go.

My pings are 26ms to the beeb, with interleaving on. All seems fine now!

Mine seem normal (GW5), though I don't know what they were like earlier... :)

Here's the graph, they reverted to normal about 17:12.

Could be, Mo, but Simon had a word with BT and they kicked the tyres so we'll never know for sure. :)
