i aint gonna buy shares in idnet ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,  just in case

Rik

Actually, buying shares would be great for customers, imo, as it would give us a say in how the company operates...

maybe we should start a new topic, persuadin idnet to give us poor mortals a discounted share scheme or somethin, as a reward instead of a yearly tax free bonus maybe a gallon of unleaded ?

Rik

If IDNet did ever want to raise cash, offering shares to customers might be a very good move. All we have to do is persuade them. :)

Agreed, although that might be good from our pov, it might not be so good from where iDnet are standing. There are benefits from being a smaller, wholly owned company!  Once you go public you have another set of problems to deal with, unless they made it a private offer via some form of investment vehicle.  Even then they are surrendering control which they might not want to do.

I must admit that having seen how Zen have expanded I am intrigued as to what iDNet might want to do.

Rik

I was just thinking that if they did have to raise capital by selling shares, having customers with a vested interest in the business could prove a good moved. Simon & Tim might see it differently, of course.
