I lost it at 14.34, had several authentication failures (which means I had to manually reconnect) then got it back at 14.46.

Mmm!! lost my connection too around 2.30 first time since I joined a couple of months ago. Had to go out for a couple of hours but back now and connection is up and running.

Well.....this work that has been done by IDnet...brought a little problem to the surface with my comp, damm network slot has gone pop and taken my bt voyager 205 with it. Dont ask me how or why...I aint got a clue, both are dead.....and its now cost me £60 for a new D-Link 924 wireless setup running through a REALTEK ancient network card and I still get 4mbs download speed on a Sat..........NICE..... :banana2: :banana2:

thanks for getting it sorted, my daughter is a happy little bunny now, she's now  back on her new laptop and not giving me grief about the internet not working  ::)

I just had a disconnection (normal) and an authentication failure (not normal). Anyone else have that, or is it just my normal problems now?

Nope. All fine here. No disconnections since the final maintenance one mid-afternoon.

Nerval

I've reauthenticated twice (on purpose) this evening with no problem.

Danni

Okie dokie. I guess it was just one of our normal evening disconnections :)

Lets hope so.
Looks for wood to touch

Interestingly enough, I've just had a look at the Plusnet forum and there are disconnection problems reported there tonight, which is normal, but also authentication problems, which isn't.

I don't know enough about authentication to say whether it could be a widespread thing due to BT, or not.
