It always puzzles me why people who have failed to run a company successfully are then offered a seat on the board of the acquiring company.  ???

Part of the bargain I suppose and maybe they have too much inside knowledge to be let loose. ;D

I've seen horse-trading of that type, Noreen, usually based on the sales book. :(
