I found this site the other day and it contains mods for almost every component of how windows looks.

Its not free but theres some fantastic stuff here http://www.wincustomize.com/ altho it does work via software so there will be a small increase system usage but its only a small amount.

Been using WindowsBlinds from them for ages now. Works a treat!

Well, WindowsBlinds is pretty darned good. It used to be a free download, but not sure if it still is.

But that's only where WinCustomize starts. You can change just about every aspect of your Windows OS, from boot screen through cursors, animated objects, menu bars, icons etc. etc.

Personally, I just use the WindowsBlinds bit which is extremely cool and, so far, seemingly bug-free (though I don't push it much, it has to be said). It comes with a small selection of skins, but there are literally thousands that can be downloaded.

I had a look at the DesktopX themes and some are fantastic altho i have downloaded some im using the windowblinds theme "vista plus version2" will post a pic below.

Altho im only just getting sorted with the site i havent had any problems at all with anything i have downloaded.

Oh yeah. It's on my main PC and I'm on the laptop now. Cyclops it is, but obviously a rip-off of BSG. Cool skin indeed.
