Woke up this morning with an uncontrollable urge to try the SBC firmware.....So i did ;D
Working perfectly, wireless 1 to 10, etc.

The thing is, i went to the recycling center with an old washing machine (not Liz)  Just checked the log and found this, (see pic) wasn't there when i went out.

This wouldn't be the elusive hotfix for the vulnerability that was recognized recently, would it?

any ideas?

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

Could be Ted, I had one, but no information on what it was for.

It could well be, Ted. There was some talk of it over on DSL Reports a little while ago. :)

There is some good info here and here. :)

I just started an account with 2wire.com and asked them.

I'm not holding my breath but you never know ;D

Let us know how you get on, it will be interested to see whether they provide any information.

Good move, Ted, blue doesn't suit penguins. :)
