No problems here either, have a look here m8 http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/ i think the best place to ask is the FF forums

Mine's fine too - but then you had problems with IE7 as well, didn't you.
I wonder if it's time for a Windows reinstall. :laugh:

This page purports to tell you what to do about it, and contains a "diagnostic" guide too.

Its a new pc its fine on me other one .
I uninstalled it and cleared every trace of it on the pc, programme files registry etc and rebooted and re-installed it completely from fresh and so far its working fine now also ive noticed it opens much quicker used to take ages to load.
Thanks for your inputs well appreciated you may get on with what you was doing now LOL.  ;D ;)

LOL i ain't that stupid lol  ::)

I think the programme got corrupt when i ugraded to 2.0 or somewhere along the line clearing it out did the trick.

I've seen a couple of posts relating to this Steve - apparently a few extensions can bollix the installation. Try uninstalling your one at a time until it (hopefully)goes away !

Thanks Scott its seems ok now and much faster but if it happens again i will do that as when i reinstalled it fresh i loaded back the same extensions from a back up ille keep you posted. in all the time ive used it thats the first time i have ever had a problem with FireFox, apart from the slow load ups but thats much quicker now too perhaps it could have been constantly upgrading and never a clean install but time will tell.

Well the problem came back last night so when i had time today i searched for the solution it was the profilemanager that i had to delete which is stored in the aplication data folder so after backing up me bookmarks etc i deleted the profile and it went back to a newly installed state (i wondered why after all that i did yesterday when i re-installed it all my bookmarks etc was all still intact). Anyway problem solved once and for all so if anyone has that problem at anytime with FireFox start>run and type in "firefox.exe -profilemanager" (without quotes) and its there.  ::)

                                                   ;D Victory !!! ;D
