A friend of mine has a wireless. I was flat-sitting for him and I remember him telling me that if the keyboard battery went that when I replaced it I might have to press the "connect" button on the receiver and then the KB as they can lose "sync" when the batteries fail. This is certainly true sometimes with my Logitech wireless mouse.

I assume you did this :)
