Just found this useful add-on for Firefox if you want to read rss feeds and have found that Brief doesn't work with version 3 of Firefox, this one does. It's available here: - RSS Ticker

Duplicate a tab,

Hold CTRL and click and hold on a tab, now drag to somewhere else on the tab bar.

Instant duplicate tab.

Aparently doesn't work on Macs though.

Simon

Great tip, thanks!  :karmic:  But I'll have to give it to you later.

Now that's a great tip - I was wondering whether something like that existed. :thumb:

Firegestures

Fully customisable, innovative mouse gestures extension for firefox.  Been using it for a couple of days and can feel the benefit of not having to move the mouse as much.  For those with large monitors it's a god send.

Give it a try, once you memorize the mappings (remember you can customise them) surfing the net becomes easier and more intuitive.

A top extension imo.

Rik

I'll have to take a look, thanks, Vit.  :thumb:

Did you get to try it out Rik?

Rik

Not yet, Vit, it's been a hectic weekend so far. I will, though.

I've just moved over to FF3 in the last couple of days at work and home, and I've found some great addons I wasn't aware of. The rest of you have probably been using these for ages, but just in case you were in the dark like me, I found Google Preview and Webmail notifier  :thumb:

I'm really liking FF3 by the way  :)

I am another recent covert to FF3 from IE7. Very much better / faster then IE7. The only problem is there to many add ons to search through.  :D

The gmail one is very good....

Too true - I have a browse every now and then, but most I use I've either found quite by chance, or someone has told me about them. :)

Might be of interest if anyone has PC Tools Spyware Doctor the latest Version Here now scans FF3 for spyware.
In the past it did not.
