Trying to send email this morning and getting "mail not local to IDNet"

Huh?

Indeed!  Sorry, haven't a clue, Ann, but I expect someone will have an answer later.

Is your error message in the form of a 'bounced' email, or does it appear before the email is sent?  Mail seems fine here, by the way.  Unless you've changed any settings, I would guess it was a glitch on the mail server, but I could be wrong, of course.

I've sent one to myself via the webmail, and that has worked fine. Maybe it was a temporary blip?

I've sent several. Were you on your IDNet connection at the time, Ann?

Was it your email client that gave this error, Ann?

Ann

Sorry not to reply, had to leave the house at 7:30 and was writing that post at 7:30.. LOL.

It's okay now, just wondered if it was only me.  Hadn't changed anything and was connected with IDNet as usual sending mail from my own domain's email address using Eudora emailer and it wouldn't send at all.  Weird.. but as I say it appears to be fine tonight.

Lance

Glad it's all fine now! Sometimes email clients will just refuse to work for no reason at all!
